
This past November, Claus Events was proud to organize the annual Jubilarians’ Celebration and Supermarket Competition for DekaMarkt for the third time, hosting 700 guests. It was a special day where appreciation for long-serving employees and the announcement of the best DekaMarkt of 2025 came together in one large-scale corporate party.

Honoring the jubilarians
The program started in the restaurant, where 150 jubilarians and their partners were warmly welcomed. They enjoyed the Famous Braaimaster dinner, featuring delicious South African braai dishes. Meanwhile, a live jazz band provided warm background music, while caricature artists and a table magician offered entertaining surprises.
After dinner, Claus Bowling was exclusively reserved for this group. In a relaxed setting, they enjoyed a fun and sporty bowling activity together, while guests could also try their luck at the casino tables. A lively and surprising finale filled with entertainment, as a token of appreciation for their many years of dedication.

Exciting finale
In the evening, the thrilling final of the Supermarket Competition took place. In The Patio and The Farmhouse, 550 supermarket employees first enjoyed late night snacks, featuring sliders, fresh fries, various snacks and sweet treats. This set the stage for the official moment.
The award ceremony in The Patio was supported by an extensive presentation on the large screen. After announcing the best DekaMarkt of 2025, the setting transformed into a lively party, with DJ and live band The Royal Beat filling the dance floor. From the latest hits to Dutch medleys, young and old celebrated the success of the past year together. As a lasting memento, guests could also enjoy the photo and video booth.
Seamlessly combining two programs
The corporate party successfully combined two programs in one location. In the early evening, the jubilarians and supermarket employees were each in their own setting, before coming together for a joint celebratory finale. This logistical challenge requires precise coordination, but as this was Claus Events’ third edition, the collaboration ran smoothly and confidently.
Brand experience in every detail
The event was not only meant to be festive but also to feel like an extension of DekaMarkt itself: inspiring, recognizable, and connecting. With this in mind, the brand identity was carefully implemented in every detail.
On the LED screen outside, jubilarians and supermarket employees were personally welcomed in full DekaMarkt style, creating an immersive experience before entering. The brand’s red corporate color served as a subtle yet powerful thread throughout the event: from outdoor lighting and the red carpet to accents in the event spaces, the brand was stylishly present everywhere.

Collaboration and results
The organization was handled in advance by Account Manager Lisa and on the event day by Event Manager Monetta. As dedicated points of contact, they were able to fully relieve the client throughout the entire process. Thanks to precise coordination, combining the two different programs in one location ran seamlessly.
The result was a corporate party full of appreciation and enjoyment. The DekaMarkt management team gave multiple compliments to the organization and the professional Claus Events team. The atmosphere was festive and connecting, demonstrating how a large-scale corporate party can be personal, impactful, and perfectly executed.
